The VFW Auxiliary works alongside the Veterans of Foreign Wars to support veterans, service members and their families while strengthening the communities we call home.
At Winslow VFW Post 8835, our Auxiliary helps carry that mission forward through volunteer service, support for veterans and their families, patriotic programs, community involvement and activities that benefit our Post and local community.
Who Can Join the VFW Auxiliary?
VFW Auxiliary membership is open to individuals age 16 and older who are the spouse, widow or widower, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, or sibling of a person who is or was eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Step- and adopted parents, children, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren are also recognized for membership eligibility under VFW Auxiliary guidelines. Proof of the qualifying veteran's service is required.
